The Massage Mitts are flexible making it easy to follow the contours of the body. Use the Mitts to massage and mobilise soft tissue, fascia, tight muscles and around your joints.
How to Use the Massage Mitts

During Shower/Bath
Use in the shower and bath with shower gel or a capful of oil in the bath

Massage with Oil
Massage with non-silicone based carrier oils

Massage with Cream
Massage while applying your usual body oils/creams
When using the Mitts, even for just a few minutes three times a week, you will reduce the accumulative effects of soft tissue tension and physical stress on body.

Gentle Body Massage
The basic elements of massage include gentle stroking movements over the body but you can massage with the mitts using various techniques. You can also adjust the duration and direction. They are effective in the reduction of both acute and chronic symptoms; by increasing blood flow and tissue oxygenation to soft tissue structures this leads to decreased pain and increased flexibility. Perform simple massage techniques to reduce the symptoms of myofascial tension, scar tissue and soft tissue adhesions.
How to put the massage mitts on
Apply massage oil to area you wish to massage. If your skin is dry you may need two coverings of oil. Rub the excess oil around your hand so the mitts glide onto your hands. Massage each body section for about 5-10 minutes.
Alternatively, use them in the shower or bath with you usual shower and bath products. Wet the skin then apply the soap or shower gel, gently massage the chosen area on the body for 2-5 minutes then wash the soap off.

One Size does NOT fit all but one size CAN fit all!
Smaller hands will use the technique below to keep the mitts on throughout the massage and larger hands can comfortably massage with a snug fit.
Smaller hands
After pulling the mitts onto the hand via the tab located at the front of your wrist joint, you will need to push the mitts together via the web space between the thumb joint and the main parts of the mitts.
Medium Sized Hands
You will just need to pull on the wrist tab to aid positioning.
Larger Hands
You will need to rotate your hands vertically into the Mitts at a 90 degree angle before turning your hand into the opening while puling in the wrist tab. They are very sturdy don't be frightened of breaking them, they will stretch.
The mitts are one size.
Use stroking, effleurage and large circular movements by gliding the flat hand over the skin. The more nodules that come into contact with the skin, the better the results. (Try not to use just your fingers and thumbs while massaging).
